The Henon Map is defined by the equations

Successively enlarge portions of the plot to discern structure at finer and finer scales by dragging the mouse to outline a rectangle on the stopped plot . (You may want to increase "Points" to 1000 or even 10000 or more for the larger magnifications.) A click outside the plot will return the scale to the default value.
There are various other features of the applet that will be used later.
